There is no better way to taste a traditional domestic cuisine than in the ancient Village of Majkovi. Climbing up the old Napoleon's road up north into the hills about 25 kilometers outside of Dubrovnik, you will enjoy the beautiful panorama of Elaphiti islands on our way to the village. Our knowlegable guide will explain you some of the local history and curiosities and will be open to any questions you have regarding the area. Our goal is to reach old rustical style house completely rebuilt by traditional stone masonry.

You will enjoy this ''Med Kuća'' Honey making house with inner museum containing restored olive oil mill, natural gardens and an amazing sea-side view. Inside the house you will have a chance to try home made goat cheese, honey and Schnaps that we traditionally call ''Rakija'' and aslo dried meat and fresh homegrown vegetables. While all the food is home made and various choices like fresh fish and vegetarian options are available, we reccomend meat (young goat or veal) that uses the slow process of cooking and we call it ''Ispod Peke'' or Under the bell.
